Penny Skateboards iPhone case

My Penny iPhone covers came today.  They look awesome, it takes a little jostling to get them on right so they are not holding the power button in.  I had to take the back side plastic protector off to get them to fit just right.  I included a few pics of the Penny case next to the Vans iPhone case as a comparison.  I like the rubber on the Penny a little better, the Vans is softer and the sides can flap around a little.  The Penny is stiffer so it stays considerably tighter against the sides of the phone.  A feature I like is the hole for the vibrate switch is cut right so it fits the 4s and the older 4 where the switch is a little higher.  Nice case.

I have a new board on the way and should have it by mid or end of this week that i am excited about,  In the meantime I have been playing with some pics on my phone to make some instagram shots and iphone backgrounds.

And, not skate related, but some of you might think this is cool.

Penny Time Prize

I have posted about Penny Time before, it is a very fun iPhone game.  It has only been out for a few months and already had a contest where you could win a real Penny for doing well in the game.  To get one of the Pennys we had to be in the top 15 scores for the contest level.  I barely squeaked by and was 14th in the first Penny Time Competition.  After a few verification steps, and a little wait on shipping and what not, I received my new Penny yesterday.  It was raining like crazy, but I still got across the street between bursts of rain to take some pics.

My current Penny is a 2011 model, so I was excited to get the 2012.

And it is a great color combination too.

I cant wait to get out and spend some time on it once this bad weather breaks.  

Thanks again Penny Time and everyone reading this should go grab their app.  Im not so good at video games and I just practiced a little bit and now have a brand new Penny.

@PennyTimeGame- I am 3rd?!?

Look at this, I am 3rd of a lot of players.  I am not sure I deserve it though, after playing a bunch trying to get some levels to 100% i went back and played the tutorial level just for fun.  I noticed that I was getting 50 points for the beginning part instead of the usual 25.  I finished the level and got this crazy high score that went to game center.  But when I look at my high score in the game it still shows my older best score of something like 36,000.  Weird, huh?  Is this a glitch or something random built into the game?  If intentional it was a cool way to make that time in level more exciting, if not, oh well, it still made that run exciting.

Anyway, more importantly this game is still really fun and before too long I am going to get all of these levels to 100%.  4 down, 2 to go since the folks running the Penny Time twitter account gave me the tip on what find the Penny and find the shark mean.  These last two are difficult but we will get there.

I finally beat all the levels in @pennytimegame.  Low scores, and I'm still not sure how to find the penny or find the shark even though apparently I have in some of the levels, but I finally got them all.  This is a fun game.

Penny Time is getting harder.

This game is getting hard, I am going to have to play this more often and get good or admit that I'm not so good at video games.  Oh well, its raining today, maybe I can jump on all these circles just right.

Penny Time iPhone Game

I just downloaded this game, Penny Time this morning.

I decide to play as a lady with the same color wheels as me.

No choice to ride a Nickel.

Graphics aren't the best but more than good enough to know what is going on.  I have only played for a few minutes here and there, but it seems fun so far.  I am already on level 3, but in level one I only got 50% and level 2 like 17% or something so even though you can progress quickly through the levels there seems to be a bunch of goals and achievements so there looks like it will have some replay value too.  

The controls are very very very simple.  Thats okay.  I don't care for when some other games try to put traditional control pad on the left corner of the screen and buttons on the other.  This just uses swipes in directions that seem to work anywhere on the screen.  

You swipe in the correct direction when over a target, the color determines the direction you need to swipe.  The more perfect you are the more points, too far off and you slam.  

I skipped most of the story, but there is some kind of time freezing going on. When I get bored, maybe Ill go back and see all the cut scenes and get the story. 

Anyway, for 99 cents, good deal, I like it.

Vans iPhone Case

This just came today, Vans iPhone case.  This is by far the coolest looking iphone case i have ever had.  The fit is not the best, but I will live with it for a while just because of how much I like the design.
