No need to apologize, that's what the comments are for. They are very similar. Aesthetics are the biggest difference. Beyond that I feel like the Steteo is a tiny bit stiffer and the tail is a little steeper. Not enough to make a considerable difference though. If you're getting it just for the deck both ride just as nice.
That sounds like a fun slalom inspired setup if you put it on a Nickel. On a Penny or Stereo I feel like that 4.3 with sideset wheels is going to make the wheels stick out pretty far.
Is there any better way to contact you? Are you on the fish? And Im going more after a pumping setup rather than a slalom setup, if that makes any sense.
The trucks I have that work for the Stereo or the Penny are !00mm Surf-Rodz Indeesz, 85mm Midtracks, and Ace 00s. I like the Indeesz best but they are pretty expensive. I like the Trackers a little better than the Ace's but that might change, I have not had the Aces that long. Midtracks would be perfect in either dart/dart, dart/rts, or rts/rts. Dont let me discourage you from anything. you could still do the 4.3s if you like them, it will be a little wider, but you will get used to it. You can message me on facebook if you want, Evel Sparklenevel. Or twitter, sparkleisaid. Or Instagram, holdsfast.
Sorry to budge in on one of your posts, but comparing JUST the deck, is there any real difference between the stereo and the penny?

ReplyDeleteI'm thinking Bennett 4.3 front and tracker rts back with tunnel rocks, what do you think?

DeleteAgh, I was worried about that. Any other recommendations for trucks?
DeleteMaybe 85mm mid tracks? With a rts baseplate front and a dart baseplate rear?
