  1. I'm actually looking at buying some of these bushings. What do you think of them? I have an old pair of Venture Hi's that I'm using right now. The stock bushings feel really hard an unresponsive. I'm mainly looking to just cruise around.

What kind of skating do you do, and do you prefer harder or softer bushings? What would you suggest for cruising? I'm looking at buying a set of the orange(80) and a set of the blue(85). I weigh about 160. I haven't had much experience with bushings, but I just know that my stock bushings feel really stiff. I also like the Khiro's because they're cheaper than Venoms.

Lastly, do you find that shock pads help make the ride smoother? I'm riding a set of 78a's, and the ride just feels like it should be less bumpy. I did just get new wheels though. Maybe they need to be broken in?

    Thanks!

  2. I like Khiros. They feel pretty good and have a bunch of styles.
I ride really soft, loose trucks on most of my setups. Just recently I did set up a board pretty stiff for me with Khiro yellows in the back and reds in the front and kind of liked it. So I guess it depends, I like both hard and soft.
Blue and Orange will be pretty soft, not that thats a bad thing, but you don't say how tall your wheels are and how much riser you are planning on using, so consider all that to avoid getting wheel bite too easy.
Shock pads, big ones like wedges or 1/2 make a difference to me. I don't think I can tell with those thin .1" or 1/8" ones though.
Again, I don't know what size wheels you have but that will effect the smoothness of the ride as well as durometer. A set of thin 78a 56mm Cadillacs aren't going to absorb as much as a set of wide 75mm 78a wheels are.
Good luck with the bushings, let me know what you get and how they ride.
